Need Some Track Day-Only Wheels & Tires? [ATL]
Throwing this out there in case it helps someone out. I have these extra wheels & tires and don't really need them. The lot is about 80% complete, so wouldn't take much to make a complete set of track-only mounted tires.
I have two rear sawblades (painted with black Plastidip), with fairly new mounted Nitto NT05 tires, and I have two 9" A-molds (without tires). The A-molds have flaky chrome and look pretty bad, but could be cleaned up and Plastidip-painted to make them look "good enough". So, all that would be needed is to buy two new Nitto's, clean up the A-molds then mount and balance the two new tires. Price is negotiable. Hadn't really thought about that yet. Back story: I originally thought I could run 11" sawblades on all four corners, but the offset was too far off to run in the front. Fortunately I had two other wheels for the front, so I bought two new tires and I'm using them now. If there is any interest I'll post pics here. These are located near Atlanta, GA. Local pickup is preferred.
