Creases and Folds on Seats
Even with low mileage and limited driving, my driver's seat bottom has been building up creases and folds. Does anyone have any suggestions on whether there's anything I can do to try to remove these and prevent or slow down future ones? Would leather conditioners help? If so, which product would you recommend? Not sure it matters, but my interior is black.
Thanks, Harry

Re: Creases and Folds on Seats
I clean and put conditioner on mine several times a year, the key is to keep the leather soft. If I'm not going to drive it for a few week I put a coat of a good cream conditioner on and don't wipe it off until next time I get ready to use it.

What specific conditioner product do you use?

Re: Creases and Folds on Seats
Used many over the years as long as they are good quality they all seem to work the same.

I use Griot's Leather Care. It works well and it smells like leather. I believe that they have penetrating leather conditioner and leather care spray for a quick cleaning. I love them both.

Re: Creases and Folds on Seats
I've tried a number of products one being Bag Balm which a lot of horse owners use on their leather saddles (it's also works great for chapped hands). Regardless of what you use the trick is to let you car sit out in the sun to get the seats warm and soft, clean them with your cleaner of choice and apply you favorite conditioner working it into the leather. Allow time to let the leather to absorb in the conditioner. Wipe off excess before allowing the leather to cool.

Re: Creases and Folds on Seats
Ive asked this question in the past and was always told because the leather is sealed or has a wax type coating nothing will seep into the leather. What I use anyway is Connolly Leather treatment. I've tried putting on a coat and letting it dry but that just makes a mess and hard to get off. My seats have had seat covers for as long as I've had it so that's better than nothing at all.
