Re: What your Dady cars owned?! ❤️
When I was very young, my father had a Pontiac convertible.
After my folks divorced, he had a 1970 Boss 302. He got tired of it, it sat for years in the garage. Last time I saw it, it was covered in dust and had cat paw prints all over it. He sold it probably late 90's to a neighbor for 8 grand. It was in very nice shape and he had the engine gone through. He also brought back a couple of dune buggy bodies back from California in the late 60's and built them both. Sold one and kept one. |

Re: What your Dady cars owned?! ❤️
My dad's best and favorite sports car was the Jag 150.
When my mom got pregnant with my younger brother and could not fit behind the steering wheel he had to sell it for a station wagon. He had a company car at the time so it was not an option for him to keep it at that time. Too bad since went up a lot in value. He told me stories about driving it on the Kansas Turnpike at 125 MPH way back in the early 1960's early in the morning when the cops were not out on the Pike. My dad had a lot of sports cars over the years but this was his favorite. Not his actual Jag but this is what it looked like. His last sports car was the 912 Vert - he really enjoyed driving this one in the summer for fun. He got a great deal on it since it was the 4 piston model. This is not the actual car but it is what it looked like.
