looks like it was the starter
For those of you who have chimed in on my no start issues I thank you...
This morning i swapped out the starter and while i was at it i changed my coil packs ( Picked up some quality used ones from one of the members here) mine were just a little too rusty on the contacts for my liking..Even tried cleaning but the ones i picked up are real nice.... Put the starter in and just gave it a quick crank ( PLENUM STILL OFF) and she cranked....Did it twice....So tommorow i will button her up and see how she performs with the ported plenum and IHs...... I was a little hesitant to tackle all this on my own but i did....It actually really was not that hard.....Just of course time consuming and making sure i took a lot of photos along the way.... A lot of members answered my questions during this and i do appreciate it.. If anyone in the northeast area needs a hand with a plenum pull.starter, injectors etc just drop me a PM and will help you personally... I am located in Brooklyn five minutes from the Verrazano bridge... Thanks again.. John...... |
