Cool LT5 Mechanics in NC

Does anyone recommend a LT5 mechanic or auto repair shop in the Raleigh, NC area that can work on a ZR-1?

I guess it depends on what you need to have done. If just an oil change, find a reputable shop and give them the info from this forum, Marc's website or the Factory Shop Manual on oil filters/changes, and watch them do it. Have them check oil pan bolt tightness while they are at it. If more serious work, I would definitely second shipping the car to Marc. A worthwhile expense, especially if you think there might be a bunch of other little issues that should be fixed by an expert. But he is normally booked out a couple of months. There is also Aaron Scott at South Georgia Corvettes, a little closer, and lots of Registry help in the VA/DC area. --Bob
