Default Bought a new mate for my Z

Recently purchased a 1991 GMC Syclone

Not looking to modify it past some ZR-1 wheels!!

Plan to freshen the suspension and the shocks

Had to do a rear shot....

Notice I seem t have a thing for black vehicles! Both trucks, trailer and my BMW.... I actually don't like black because it's so hard to clean

Jay Leno recently posted this about his Syclone and might have put me over the edge to buy one!!

A-Molds! Thinking of installing J55's too. Brakes on this truck aren't
that stout.

18'. Fronts. 19'. Rears. Yes made by Fikse

I love to change wheels on the Z, but I doubt I'll ever change
these!!

Neat truck, David!! I'm not a truck person myself, but I just watched the Jay Leno link you provided so now I'm at least a bit familiar with your Z's new mate. As for black vehicles, well, I agree with you that it's hard to keep them clean and looking nice. They're beautiful when they're clean but... My first black car was a SIMCA around 1968 when I was still in college. (My uncle's Oldsmobile dealership sold them for a while.) After just a few months I swore I'd never buy another black car. Untrue to my word, I bought a brand new black Corvette in 1979. It wasn't long into that ownership that I swore a second time I'd never again buy a black car. Again untrue to my word, in 2001 I walked into the local Porsche dealership and saw a new black Boxster S on the showroom floor. I couldn't resist and bought it on the spot. Quickly growing tired of car-washing and paint swirl marks very visible in the bright sun, after just a few months of ownership I ordered a new 2002 Boxster S--in red! Hopefully I finally learned my lesson. That being said, since you now have three black vehicles, you can cry on my shoulder anytime you wish. I'll understand.

Joe,

I am not nessisarily crying but thanks for the shoulder!!!!
Very happy with the new truck... As Jay said, this truck isn't
much for hailing!!! 500lbs including passengers?

One of our Z brothers was an original owner and had it for 36k
miles, 4 years and sold it for 2k more than he paid for it!!! But
he regrets selling it...

Watching thr Jay Leno video got me excited and did lots of research
on it. As long as you don't modify these engines, they are well built
and durable! And FUN!!

Plan to do some maintenance and drive it!

Nice! I've been looking too. I had a Typhoon back in the day & still have my GN (original owner).
