Default Track X at NCM Motor Park

Hey guys just signed up myself and my son for the Track X event during our BG event. Some how I feel we are getting ripped off by the NCM Motor Park because we are only getting 2-3 runs at $75 during our event but their web site says 8-10 runs at $75. By the time your done with this event you should need new tires not just have gotten them warmed up.

From the NCM Motor Park web site:

The NCM better support us especially for our event or I/we may stop supporting them. Hopefully all things are good but most people don't want to pay $75 for 2-3 laps, I don't like it either but I will eat this...this time.

Kevin explains reason in post #11

Who else has signed up to test the limits of your machines?

Hopefully our leadership in our ZR-1 Registry can put a boot in someones a$$ to make this better.

Im laughing right now. The cost could have been $300.00 and you and I might have bitched and moaned but we still would have paid to drive our car on the track.
Did Daniel sign up yet?

Yeah your right Robert, brand new Corvette Race Track and a track inspired ride. You know you have to.....

Daniel said he was not running on the track but will be my cheerleader.

$300 wouldn't have covered much in the way of a track day, that should just about cover the marshals meeting

So, is there an explanation for why we'll get 2-3 runs for the price that most people get 8-10 runs?

I'm trying to keep a positive attitude about this, and I'm sure the event is going to be fun, but it's hard not to wonder how the schedule got so derailed. If anyone knows and doesn't want to say publicly, please send me a PM. I'd really like to hear that the club tried to get what was initially planned, but couldn't for some (valid?) reason.

I am guessing because we are spliting the track into two events, Those that want to just cruise around the track at about 50 MPH. Than us crazy's that have a death wish.
If there is an AutoX event I am sure the use the track all day long.

Hopefully our boys (Leadership) can make this better for us.

See post #11, Kevin explains.
