My ZR1
I'm still kind of new to the forum/Corvette world, but I wanted to introduce myself.
I am a car/motorcycle guy and always have been since I was a little kid. I can't remember a period of time since I was 13 that I wasn't working on some sort of project. I started off with a 1971 Honda CL350 a long time ago, and eventually moved on to a 1987 Porsche 924S(total junker) that I did a ton of work on. I had a few RZ350's in the mix there, as well as a 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo. Last year about this time I had a garage fire. It took away my 1986 944 Turbo and built RZ350. I purchased another bike a few months ago to replace the RZ350, I got another 2 stroke, but I still was searching for a "fun car". My old vehicles before the fire: I looked for another 944 Turbo, but my brother said I should get something different. Why get the same car twice? So I looked at various cars: MR2's, V8 Swapped Miatas, SC400's, and a few others. After looking off and on for a few months, I found a corvette for pretty cheap on Craigslist. I take a look at the ad, and BAM. THE ALMIGHTY LT5. The PO didn't even have it advertised as a ZR1. I later found out when I called him what he had. He was pretty upfront about the condition. Had some various rock chips, needed some work on the driver seat, needed new tires. But outside of that it was great. So I took the gamble and agreed to buy the car sight unseen. This is what I ended up with...

Re: My ZR1
Man,that fire must have been devastating! Sure looks like you found a decent ZR-1,though. I'm a fan of that color combo, too.

Re: My ZR1
Thanks for the compliments.
As far as price goes, lets just say it is cheaper than any other ZR1's that I have seen with close to the same miles.
