1:24 or 1:18 Models
Does anyone know if they ever made a 1990 ZR-1 model in 1:18 or 1:24 size? I'm almost certain they did and would prefer to find one in black.

Plastic will do for now, but if i knew that they made a decent quality diecast i would hold out until i found one.

Re: 1:24 or 1:18 Models
In some way the Promo models have their own touch of beeing something
special, because they are official models from Chevrolet. They are simple models, but they have their own charm. I think the 1:18 models are from Maisto, but their quality is poor. Danbury Mint and Franklin Mint are great. I own both of them. I think that if " The ZR-1 Registry" would speak with one of the high quality manufaturers like AutoArt, and if they would get the permission from Chevrolet, may be they would realize a fine 1:18 ZR-1. Just an idea! Franz

Re: 1:24 or 1:18 Models
I checked out the Franklin and Danbury Mints, they look great but they're not a 90. Looks like my only option are cheap plastic.

Re: 1:24 or 1:18 Models
90 promotional models in 1/25, red on red,
are one of the most common promo models out there. $5 each all over the place at Carlisle. Almost bought a case of 12 for $50, but already have a half dozen of them... |
