A/C gauge readings
I thumbed through the Service Manual but didnt see what i was looking for.
What should the high & low side gauges read when the system is fully charged? this is for a 1992 with a R12 system that is all original. many thanks! |

Re: A/C gauge readings
What is the Ambient Temperature outside? Humidity?
This should help

Re: A/C gauge readings
Keep in mind that your pressure is actually going to be a little higher than what the PT chart says unless you have a big box fan moving air across your condenser.

Re: A/C gauge readings
Thank you everyone and don't know how i missed that chart.
Temps tend to be high 70's/low 80's, humidity around 45-50%. will make note of higher temps without a fan blowing across the condenser. as always this group is top notch and extremely helpful. big thanks to all. |

Re: A/C gauge readings
Also looking at the PT chart you can see why R134a will put a bigger drag on the motor than R12
