Default Look for this next year...Chevy’s 650-hp Corvette SS

http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dl.../FREE/61004002

Something to look for at the shows next year...Chevy’s 650-hp Corvette SS for 2008 intro

A fellow ZR1 owner sent me and another friend this and suggested we all chip in. He also volunteered to store it at his house, and said we could use it whenever we were in town.

Price tag will at least 100k

I'm 6' 2" and I didn't even think about fit when I recently drove a C-6. I honestly liked the steering feel of my Z better! It was nice though.

Well I'm 6' 7" and I fit in one. Then again I really don't think of my size or comfort when I get into a great car. Heck my cross country trip in my ZR-1 was one of the most enjoyable rides I ever had. Granted I got out and stretched periodically, but it never crossed my mind about being uncomfortable since I was having so much fun.

I'm 6'5" and IMO the cockpit of the c4 is pretty glovelike...a little tight, but not overly so.....my biggest issue is my size 13's fitting down below, and those pedals being pretty close together.

Kool I will have to see someday I'll pop in the localdealer and sit in one and see!

When I sit in a C5 targa the roll bar (moved fwd for the trunk) at the corner where the radius occurs hit me in the back of the head.

The only C5 I could own would be a Vert!

And as we all know the vert's do not allow Z06 option!

I don't remember promising any pictures, but nice try.
Actually over the years I have posted different shots of my ZR-1 depending on the thread. My latest picture is of my center console if you have any interest.

As to a picture of me driving I honestly don't think I ever had anyone take a picture of me behind the wheel. I obviously do not sit totally upright in any of the vettes I've driven. To me the C-6 is easy enough to adjust and drive without being cramped. Then again I drive a 300ZX so a vette can seem downright roomy.
