Auxiliary 12V outlet install
For those of you who hate having only one 12V outlet on the center dash, I may have a solution. I have installed a 3 port 12V outlet on the front of the passengers seat.
All you need is the following. 1. A desire.... 2. 12V multiport outlet 3. a block of wood 7"x1/4"x1" 4. Self tapping screws 5. Some wiring knowledge. 12V multiport outlet of your choice. Small piece of wood, paint it black so it is not noticeable. Attached outlet to wood then wood to front of seat via self tapping screws. Plenty of juice under seat to tie in for 12V. Mission complete, 12V power source for your additional electrical needs.

Much better there than on the knee bolster for several reasons.

Looks good!
Maybe an in-line fuse on the power lead? |
