Thanks Jim for doing this. Here's how we let the world know about our cars. We don't wait for them to come to us. Its the old "Squeaky wheel...".

First Class write-up about the best of the C4 ZR-1's, and my favorite example.
One minor inaccuracy though, it states: "Twenty years later, Lingenfelter 415 ZR-1's are still relevant in terms of performance. They are quicker 0-150-0 than a new C6 ZR1, and that’s without a supercharger and with fewer cubic inches." The 415's, as we all know, are much bigger than the 378 cu in. late model ZR1. I think it's because some people assume that the C6 ZR-1, because it's the baddest, uses the ZO6 shortblock (427). It does not. BTW, that photo graphic at the top is superb, and an inspiration to those of us who have white ZR-1's. The difference between that car, and my car?.......cubic $$$. ![]() Last edited by Bob Eyres; 03-04-2014 at 11:16 AM. |

Wow.......nice write up........it is pretty much verbatim of what I gave him. Thanks for the nudge guys; I feel very fortunate to own a piece of history.

Graham,
Thanks so much for chiming in. Always a pleasure. Any chance we can talk you into the 1/2 mile drags in Chicago June 21-22? |
