I have a 95 FSM book set that was printed in Dec of 1994 and has the correct torque value of 70 lb/ft shown. The front abutment bracket has a much much higher toque- like 160 lb/ft or something.

My FSM on page 5B2-6 says 166 +/- 15 lb.ft. This is the rear brake section but matches word for word the front brake caliper mounting bolt wording. Mine is also printed Dec 1994.

The clue being that it says (verbatim from the front brake procedure) to tighten the 'two front caliper mounting bolts'. Brakes are so straight forward, I never would have read that anyhow- just go to the last page for the torques and that's that. |

Well I'll be doing this very shortly w C6Z06 rear calipers. Need to check if the torque spec is the same. My 1/2" torque wrench only goes to 150lbs.
