Default Car won't start

I have had two occasions where the car would not start. After locking/unlocking the remote several times and re-trying over a few minutes it eventually has started. I noticed the battery in my remote was down to say 10-15%. I re-placed the battery and assumed that was the problem. Anybody had a similar experience? Should I be looking at something else besides a low remote battery?

Does it start with the key when the remote start fails to?

If it does, then the remote start might be at issue. If NOT, it just so happens Marc Haibeck has a very good article in the Heart Of The Beast magazine in the MEMBERS ONLY section of this site. Are you a ZR-1 Registry club member?

Paul,
Yes I am a member and Marc has been very helpful resolving a couple of other issues. Maybe I did not describe correctly. My remote is for security alarm / lock/unlock. Each time after unlocking I tried to start with the key and no dice. I assume that the security anti-theft was blocking the start. I will check out Marc's article. Thanks
