need some help!
Hello from Switzerland,
A good friend of mine owns a motorboat, powered by a 5 liter Chevy V8. First it was equipped with a four barrel carb. Then he could buy an electronic GM ramjet fuel injection and installed this unit. The ECM was made by a company here in Switzerland. The engine runs, idling is okay, fuel economy is much better than before, but as he told me power between 3000 and 4500 rpm is really bad, worse than before with the carburetor. So I asked him, why not using the original GM Performance ramjet ECM? He thinks, these ones are bad too. So, anybody of you knows what make of ECM would be great for his engine? Thank you for your help. Franz PS. I told him to try to get an LT5 marine engine,

Re: need some help!
I would think that first you would attempt to identify the ECM that is being used. Here's a "more popular list" of the production ECM's for the various marine power providers. If it's one of these OR if you can maybe supply an image and the identification information from your friends ECM it would be much easier to maybe help.
