Speedy recovery Gordan. BG 12, Gordan was nosing around under my hood while Marc H installed a new chip for me. What an honor to have those two under my hood.

this is terrible. no offense guys but I don't think you "get better" from having your fingers cut off

has he had surgery to try and reattach them? I saw on Dr. Oz a new technology that was "cloning" a body part from your cell and they actually grew a man a replacement finger and did the surgery to reattach it.

no problems with rejection and it worked!! amazing

they are also working on being able to grow replacement organs for transplant too. the technology is just fantastic

also see 3d printing of organ. "bio printing" is starting to come of age.

I know this technology is a long way off, but it might be an option for gordon down the road.

thanks for posting this up. I need to call him and find out how he's doing!

A lot of that will be determined due to the extent of the injury if the bone had to be denuded etc. This is very common in wood working and referred to as an offhand injury in the safety world. While working with your "power" or dominant hand you forget where your other hand is during the placement of it for support. It happens every day and technology is trying to help. I wish Gordon a speedy recovery.

See below the latest leap in safety engineering to help prevent these tragedies. He will recover however, it makes the tragedy no less tragic.
