Default Lingenfelter packages

Curious if anyone has had experience with Lingenfelter packages on their ZR1. Specifically the 475HP mod package.

Thoughts? Good/Bad/Neutral...

Will it devaluate a 1992 ZR1 with 4000 mile?

Thanks

Paul

is this a package that was already done or are you looking at having it done?

Kevin,
Looking at getting it done. Right now the car is stock aside from the open air box and Airaid air filter.

Thanks

Paul

it's tough to say...lpe is a well respected company that does good work. having the package done probably won't hurt the value too much but mods don't generally increase value...the cars that already had work done when John was still alive may go up since he personally oversaw and test drove each car. Grahm is still there so I have no worries about sending a car there to get worked on

You could get a Pete Package for less price, more bang for the buck

I had a LPE 93 475 ZR-1 and it was a very nice car.

I certainly would consider a 368 or even better a 396 that you could build for the same price and get much better performance.

look up Pete from the FBI guys in chicago.

he is doing some really good things and is affordable.

Call LPE and see what they are doing with the 475 package nowadays and compare prices with Pete and Marc Haibeck

which the "LPE name" is worth something and wouldn't really hurt the value of the car, don't expect to recover the $$$ modding a ZR-1 when you sell it.

instead, expect to hang onto it and ENJOY the performance. mods can bring .25 on the dollar which is pretty disappointing even with an LPE car.

Pete did my stock block LT5. Over 500hp. A blast to drive. He's in Chicago and on this forum PETE is his avatar name.

Can't go wrong with Pete!
