Re: Update from Bill B
Beautiful car. I am sure it is very quick. However, I do have some concerns as a race car and what class you would have to run in. It is not a true GT-1 car and would most likely be underpowered but much lighter and I am not sure if it would be allowed to run it in that class. Nasa SSU/TTR would probably work. I am not sure what GTO class is now but certainley could face some tough experienced competition. This car if prices at around 60k is a bargain. It is fast , safe, and has to be a ball to drive. I have more than that in my C4 race car and my friends who I have raced against in their C5's have well over 100k in theirs. A track car is one thing a race car is another and for 60k this would be a heck of a deal. Just remember the purchase price of the car is JUST the beginning. I learned that a long time ago. Great video beautiful car. I wish I had one.

Would love to drive that car, would need earplugs under the helmut though, lol. I like the vice-grip throttle cable at the end.

Re: Update from Bill B
At VIR the day before I ran there I stopped in late in the day and two Australian stock type cars were working out renting the track in prep for a race the next weekend in N.J. on a different track. The driver told me he was running 800 hp and open exhausts. I stood at the start line on the long straight going into turn #1 and could see him coming at 175 mph and knew it but 35' from him as he rolled by it scared the living you know what out of me with the sound of it. I relate to the video above and think back to that 28 year old Aussie who was the cockiest guy you ever met as a driver.
