Default Pacific Northwest ZR-1

Just curious if anyone knows anything about this shop: http://www.pnwzr1.com/

I found it tonight while looking for another site and thought I'd see if anyone has been there before. Thanks!

Scott

I should know since it's only 5 or so miles away.
I'll find out.

Thanks Scott... I've had one member tell me that he took a stroker (LT5) there and recommended them. If you are really close to the shop, you might want to stop by and check it out. Could be a good local resource (would be a 3-4 hour drive for me). If you do check it out, please PM me your impression. I do have a few things that I want to get done (fluids, SW headers, exhaust, 4.10s and a good overall inspection). I either need to get the work done within the next couple of months or hold off until I get transfered to the MD-Wash DC area at the end of the year.

Cheers,
Scott

I would wait until you move and lookup the WAZOO guys. They can do all of your list as part of their maintenance days.

Is this your recomendation because of the pluses of the WAZOO clan, or the minuses of the PNZR-1?

Just curious.

I do all of my own work except change tires and alignments if I want all four wheels done. It's a hobby as well as something fast to drive.

I usually do the light to med stuff myself, but I haven't been around much since moving here in June and really don't want to try to tackle things without a lift and a second set of hands (preferably someone who has done it before). Even simple flush and fills need a second set of hands or feet in most cases, and I'm sure that there are a few tricks that will make things easier.

The right answer for me is probably to wait until I get to DC and join up with the gang out there. I noticed that they do seem to get together fairly regularly for group maintenance - which is perfect for someone like me who wants to learn and help. Thanks again for all the info and advice!

Cheers,
Scott
