Re: Another 89 ZR-1 Prototype LOL
"this car was also a ZR1 prototype that had every option of the ZR1, but the ZR1 was not introduced till 90. It has been spoken by GM employees that they were in a rush to get the ZR1 out in 89 but were having trouble finalizing the engine specs, hence the prototype status."
Every ZR-1 option except the motor. I see reserve has not been met yet. Maybe stuff like this is an indication that ZR-1s are becoming more desireable. Just sayin.

Re: Another 89 ZR-1 Prototype LOL
That's what my first Corvette looked like, except I did not have a six-speed. Back in the day, I thought that car was simply awesome! It's a shame the prototype story is being used to try to sell the car. It appears it would simply sell as a low mileage '89 coupe that is well equipped and maintained.

Re: Another 89 ZR-1 Prototype LOL
I also have a 89 automatic equipped like the one in the eBay ad. I really like driving that car. Didn't know it was almost a ZR-1 prototype.
