Default Bose Light Diode Replacement

As long as I had the console out to remove my dead trans,
I decided its just a hop skip and jump to finally replace the
burnt out lights on my Bose radio- been driving me crazy when
driving at night. I disassembled the bose down
to the circuit board with (3) dead diodes surrounding the
number display plate. The other bulbs check out OK.

I remember some time ago postings about replacing burnt out
Bose radio light bulbs/diodes with schematics and
specific bulbs/diodes to buy. I have checked the archives
but can't find the info. Anyone?

Also as an option, anyone electronically endowed who if I mailed them the
circuit board would (correctly) replace the diodes?

Thanks

Default Re: Bose Light Diode Replacement

I found the schematic that I had remembered, but it was for the amps,
not lights. A big thanks to Gary James.
I vaguely remember someone posting the stats for the LED bulbs.......
Thanks,
Ted
P.S. Why am I worrying about lights on my radio when my Z us up on
stands with a seized trans? Land of denial.
