what is the best way to clean the engine bay.. Not the engine itself but all the road grime and junk around it. Please dont say by hand... LOL

Before mine broke this spring, I carefully used a pressure washer about twice a year- mostly around the radiator and front suspension and frame area where all the road grit accumulates.
I actually do lightly blast the heads with the spray, but wash the engine at your own risk until you are experienced enough to know where the water should not go (mostly by hand). Always wash a cold engine (the TPS sensor may crack inside if a rapid temp change occurs). Also would be good to know if your plenum drain plug is open or plugged. |

I was thinking about bagging the motor with plastic bags and painters tape than carefully using pressure washer around the engine bay.
