WHAT AM I MISSING??...All grounds are connected to the block. is there a ignition fuse? could it be the ignition control(under the plenum?... let me know!!!!!! |

Have you check the fuel and the pressure?

It migh those connections under the plenum and above the bell housing. Make sure they are secure. It happen to me once ..the connections above the bell housing wasn't secure and it didn't start.
Hope you find it, |

Not to sure about the two connections on the controller that can be swapped,
but if they are for the coil drivers I would think you would have a backfire of some sort. I would double check the crank sensor, this signals the coils to fire. Also maybe one of the connections under the plenum was missed. When ever I have something that doesn't start I go back to the basics; Air-Fuel-Spark I usually have missed something hope this helps...jimmy |

hey jerry,..I made an order,..I thought I got everything I needed,..But I guess I missed plenum gaskets?????
![]() I will check the connections tomorrow! Anything else it could be? Heres what I will look at: all four connections under the plenum pins cam sensor confirm which plug goes to which spot (forward under the plenum) is which because they swapped ![]() firing order(drivers 2-4-6-8 passenger:1-3-5-7 )..correct?? |

Make sure you didn't blow a fuse. A blown gauge fuse will cause a crank but no start because the ecm seas no tach RPM while cranking and will not fire the injectors. Been there done that.

Check the coil pack 2 connectors back of the coil packs sometimes the lock pins on the connectors do not lock very good and when fumbling with the ignition module plugs they could pull off. Pete

You probably bent a pin while plugging in the Ignition Module. Its not necessary to remove the plenum to look at the pins.Remove the plug look for a bent pin & carefully straighten it, then plug it back in.
Not uncommon, I've done it & so has just about everyone else.

The 4 connectors on the ignition module under the plenum are not interchangeable. The 2 towards the front carry the coil primary controls signal, the small one at the back of the module is switched B+. The big one carries ECM signals
