Re: FBI's Pete at work...
I know of 3 runners, born in FBI land, and I believe Marc H. was about to begin on another, a month or two ago - status and whether open or closed deck is unknown.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe Frank's 441 is an open deck jewel - a Marc Haibeck creation, whereas Al and Kevin's 441s are closed-deck conversions based on an AES reworked LT5 short block design, as is Bob G's 427. P.

That day my thong was at the cleaners getting cleaned also adding beaded fringes to the back side, getting it ready so i can work on your Z,Lee. Closed deck is like the old small block chevy's. LT5 has cylinder sleeves and there is nothing around the sleeves you could basicly pull cylinder sleeves out by hand. I know there is pictures on here of Todd's, Bob's or Al's closed deck LT5's compare them to stock LT5. Somebody find and post the pictures. Pete
