Default Big brakes

I'm thinking about getting a nice set of brakes for the front and I'm soliciting recomendations. I have the stock 17 inch wheels.

Ha! Now that's what it is usually about huh? I'm not sure, I'm getting my tax return soon so as much as a couple grand. I like the Baer setups I've seen. Would like a nice big caliper!!

IMHO, don't waste time/money with the Baer track set up. It's basically a stock C4 caliper that has been machined/cast flat anda nice logo painted on.

Either spend the money and go with Alcon or Brembo. But remember, the larger set ups will require you to go to the 5 spokes, unless you want to push the wheels out using a spacer.

Question Re: Big brakes

I think I want the 05 ZO6 brake upgrade. Is it worth it, and is there a kit they sell to adapt to our cars?

How about this? SSBrakes recommended this to me as an upgrade to ZR-1 system.

Interesting. Looks like they also have a 4-piston setup too, albeit with thinner rotors:
