Default LT5 convertbile anyone???

wow....

Had the pleasure of meeting Leon and his wife @ BG this year. He started talking about putting an LT5 in a 1992 Corvette. I was like, oh great! He said, no a standard c4 corvette!!! VERY COOL!

That 1992 corvette was sold / given to his brother who wanted it badly and he decided to buy a 1995 Corvette Convertible (and drop another LT5 in that!)

He is bringing it to Carlisle this year!

This is the next project

First is the project car (1993 Ruby Convertible)

He purchased a 1989 Prototype LT5 and plans in installing it this winter!

I was watching a TV show about Lamborghini. They were showing assembly of Mercielago and commented the V12 weighed 1200 lbs.

Years 90-92, the engine harnesses needs to match the year or you will have to do a lot of rewiring. 93-95 seem to be the same.

I guess its cool. I don't like the idea of a C4 without the targa, never mind how the car feels as a convertible. I guess the appeal is the Verts never came with an LT-5 for production. I can appreciate the hard work and long hours but it really does nothing for me. Guess I'm odd ..... :P

I know this is out in left field....but are the wiring harnesses even compatible from the motor to the cabin bulk head connector and then on the CCM and all the rest of the stuff?
