Default Window Seal Help

After fighting with this for 2.5 hours and spending countless hours searching on the web, I am hoping that one of you guys can help solve this problem I'm having.

I am trying to adjust the passenger side window so it will seal. I have the tip in and stops adjusted correctly so the window is sitting tight along the roof and A-pillar weather stripping.

But for the life of me, I can not get the B-pillar to seal. The gap is large enough that I can easily see that the window is not touching the weather stripping. The problem is, I don't see any adjustments that allow for the window to come in, even the striker and latch aren't adjustable. Am I missing something guys??

I have tried using my FSM for adjustment tips, but it isn't much help. Any help from the wealth of experience on here would be greatly appreciated!!

I have attached a photo of the window bolts for reference if someone needs it.

I'm hoping to have this sealed up for the 6.5 hour road trip this weekend.

T

Tyler relax the felt stops. You have to be to far forward against the window. Im amazed the power windows are working

Are you referring to the felt stops indicated by the yellow arrow? I've got the back one almost completely backed off and the front is only slightly adjusted forward. I will back both of them off completely tonight when I get home and see if I get any different results.

The drivers door seals up perfectly with the new stripping, but this passenger door definitely is not going as well.

Thanks for the suggestion on this.

It looks like you are going have to adjust the glass backward - Start by loosening the three studs that attach the window to the lift mechanism.

Have you replaced the B-pillar seal with a non-factory piece?

Yes the B-pillar was replaced with a non-factory piece, mainly because they don't make the "good" stuff anymore, but the drivers door seals perfectly fine.

I have adjust the window backward, but them I'm too far back from the A-pillar and it doesn't align right.

But I will gave the glass an adjustment again and see.

Tyler,
Post up on your outcome. I just had my windshield replaced and the gasket was non-OEM. On the way down to BG, I had air wistling at the top or side on both sides and leaked water on the drivers side. The glass guy told me an ajustment may be required. I've never done this, but may give it a try.

Like Goldcyclone said, loosen and relax the felt window stop for the rear of the window.
Then, along the bottom of the door(facing the ground), there are 2 bolts that hold the bottom of the window regulator. Loosen the bolt and move out or in as needed. As you move the bottom of the regulator you will notice the top of the window tip in and out.
I hope this helps.

Actually, now that I think about it, I believe regulator attachment at bottom is fixed and top is adjustible. Need to loosen the top and move in and out to adjust window top tip in and out.
Sorry for the confusion.

I tried an aftermarket B pillar weatherstrip and could not adjust to achieve seal and avaid the window from binding. Ended up replacing with factory piece. They can still be found.
