Default Just Re-Newed my Collector Car Insurance

So, I pulled the cover off my car, and low and behold, it's still there,
engaged the battery connector, pumped the gas, and lit the fire on the first crank.

Last year i found a Missouri based Insurance company that has
a Collector car program.
I have not found another that can compete in price.

Agreed upon value, limited miles per year, 2500 miles

$266.00 ... put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Continental Western Insurance Company
800.533.0303

just sayin.............

Keith,

Would they allow additional miles for some additional dollars?

Barrett-Jackson "recommended" insurance was also a very good price. Similar to what you've found.

The price tag sound interesting, Keith. But, it's hard to compare w/o knowing all the particulars. A couple examples for same agreed value cars of ours...

Ami's 69 Vette is with Hagarty (sp?), running her $178/yr for an agreed value, limited miles policy. She has a 2500 mile limit (averages about 500/year IF that), her liability and medical (L&M) is 100k/300k, a small comp deductible, and I believe she has towing too.

I've got a 6000 mile limit on the Z, agreed value, no deductible on broken w/s, $250 deduct on comp damage, towing up to 50 miles, $500k/$500k L&M, and uninsured motorist. I can't use it to drive to work, or grocery shopping, but that's about it for $461 annual.

I'd love to get mine down a bit, so I'm shopping some now. I'll check your guy out and see what my options are. (Insurance pricing seems like sucha game to me )

P.

I believe the biggest variable in the agreed value policy is the agreed amount.

The more you want to insure for the more your premium will be.

You need to compare apples to apples on all coverages.

You also have to consider payouts and whether its agreed or stated value.

You also have to look at what the car's total coverage is.

All these affect premium.

Also, you find out whether your insurance company is worth a damn when you have a problem not when you pay the cheap premium. Sometimes that cheap premium costs you big time in the end. Do your homework.

They do appear to have an A+ rating, I prefer mine though with a A++ rating.
