Default Drivers Side Camshaft Cover

Hi.

I have a quick question on the removal of the drivers side cam shaft cover.

If all the bolts are out, she should lift right off, right?

I've got all the bolts out and I'm able to lift the cover up about a 1/4 inch, but it feels like something is hooking up on the front end. I go to lift it and you can hear something contacting something and it keeps it from coming up any further.

I've lifted it from every angle and I can't figure out why it won't come off.

The passenger side came off like a breeze...

Anyone else experienced this problem??

Tyler

Got it!!

One of the end caps had a huge wad of loctite on it and it wouldn't come out. Worked it back and forth for about 10 minutes until it finally popped.

Kind of a pointless post to ask I guess. I knew that there wasn't anything holding them down, but you know how it goes...

I did notice that the left camshaft chain has less tension than the right though.
