I'll come install them for you if you pay my airfare. Then you can sit back on the lawn chair with a cold one and laugh as I curse lol.

I have a lot of respect for you guys working inside the confines of the c4. The spaces are tight, and it is definately not the most fun car to work on with the beastly lt5 in it.

Damn John, remembering what a PITA they are to remove I can only imagine the cursing I'd be doing trying to put the bastages back on.

That's a hell of an offer Rob. At the rate I'm going, I'll still be working on it the next time you get to this area for your work.

Angry Re: Stock Exhaust Header Re-Install

Thanks for the comments all. I actually reinstalled the ones on my previous #458. That was three years ago. I forgot what a pain it is. I have to loosen the heat shield on the right side and HOPE the bolt I dropped in there falls out or I'll be pulling that one back off. Can't get the bolt in on the passenger side upper cat heat shield either.

I'm done for today before I throw something. This is amazing for me because I usually throw something, break or dent something, and then quit.

Yes, I discovered the joy of removing these back when I first got my Z. I'm not looking forward to re-installing them, which is a task I will be doing fairly soon now.

I'm sure there will be lots of this and this .

But once I'm done, there will be lots of this .
