Re: October HOTB
People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Dwight has busted his butt for years putting out the HOTB with very little content and input from the membership. We can't expect him to print what he doesn't have.

Re: October HOTB
The latest issue is awesome. Well worth the wait. The Registry is losing a very valuable and dedicated member of the executive with the end of the current editor's service.

Thanks Frankie!!!! Always a stand up gentleman from LI - a tribute to our club indeed! I guarantee that Frank's presence on the board of the Club will result in some positive effects for the general membership. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to devote a little time to the club.

Re: October HOTB
Did you send in an article to get published that was ignored? If not, then maybe it is something to send the new editor for the next issue. Lack of contribution results in lack of articles.

I hope the new editor has better luck soliciting content from everyone. Unfortunately, at this point, most of the tech articles have been done to death, and the average owner is typically quite sensitive about writing, even though the editor will correct/edit what it written. Such is the life of the HOTB editor. I just hope that the membership is supportive of our new editor's efforts in the new year - it is a tough and thankless (sometimes degrading and insulting) job and he needs your collective support. |
