ZR-1 Track Day at Blackhawk 2011
Spoke to blackhawk farms raceway, they are located on the WI/IL boarder and are an SCCA/NASA track. IF we get 40-50 cars we could rent the track for the day for $165-170 per person...includes, insurance, corner workers, ambulance, etc. Track to ourselves.
Turns out the owner has 2 ZR-1s(90, 94) and a new ZR-1....and races a GT-1 vette in SCCA. http://www.blackhawkfarms.com/content/homepage.cfm Blackhawk Farms is a 1.95 mile, 7 turn private circuit racetrack located in South Beloit, Illinois on 216 acres. The track is on the border between Wisconsin and Illinois, within 90 miles o f 2 major metropolitan areas; Chicago and Milwaukee and minutes from interstate 90. Byron dragway is only 30/40 minutes away. Could do a Friday at the road course and then sat at Byron.....area has a great countryside, and lodging/entertainment are reasonable. Just a thought...

I guess it would depend when it was for a lot of people, myself included. I'd be interested but it's also a fairly long drive for me to get there.
Doing a track day at Mosport in just over a week
