need help
Hello all,
Could any of you help me out regarding this history of this car? I'm looking at a possible purchase. 1991 Blk/Blk 1G1YZ23JXM5800170 368 Lingenfelter upgrade (supposedly) Roll Bar Doesn't Lingenfelter usually engrave their name on the plenum when they do a conversion? What's the deal with the graphics? Thanks in advance! Paul |

Re: need help
Paul,
Looking to get back into the ZR-1 world, I see!. The answer to your question is that it wasn't till later that Lingenfelter started to engrave their name on the plenum. Before I bought your car, I was looking at a 92 Lingenfelter out of Calif. Take the VIN and call Lingenfelter. They can give you the history of the car. If, in fact, it is a Lingenfelter, they'll have documentation adn they will engrave the plenum if you like. Dominic |

Hello Dominic!
Yep, I'm looking at getting back into a Z, I really miss it! I'll give Lingenfelter a shout and see what they say. Thanks for the heads up! Paul |

Re: need help
Looks like the top end has been polished, that's probably why there's no paint in the lettering.
Looks like Motorsport Technology Group WAS a Grand Am Racing team. http://www.grand-am.com/teams/team.c...ies=k&tid=1456 Perhaps one of the team members owned it? TomC 'Crabs
