What size allen wrench do I need for the Transmission oil fill/add bolts?
...also what fluid would be a acceptable other then that BMW stuff I keep hearing about.

Make sure you put good pressure on the 17mm socket when loosening, it's not a very deep allen head plug.

The cheapest and easiest way to go is to buy a 17mm hex key cut an inch and a half off the end and use 17mm socket and probably a breaker bar if it has not been off before.

Sears has a short arm 17mm allen wrench for about 9$ that works fine with a cheater.

I used the BMW oil in the tranny and Royal Purple in the rear diff.

BMW TWS & in the Diff. use GM's new(er) tricky stuff...can't think of the name of it off the top of my head right now...?

Rear End oil I'm using is AC-Delco Dexron LS Gear Oil 75W-90, PT.NO:88862625.
