Default Shelby Wheel Questions

I did a search, but I couldn't find a definite answer.

Can you simply install the wheels over factory brakes without moving the centers to the outside?

Will longer wheel studs be needed?

Are special lug nuts needed?

Not seeing allot of choices for the 335 30 18 sizes... What are you guys running for tires?

For Shelby Series One Wheels:
Yes, they clear my C4 ZR-1 brakes easily.
No, longer studs are not required, but I am installing studs that are threaded the full length so there is more engagement between the stud & nut.
I am running 335/30ZR18 and 285/30ZR18 abd I have no clearance issues.

You only need to move the centers to the outside if you're doing C5 brakes.

You can just throw them on if it’s c4 brakes. I’m running Toyo r888r’s. They’re not cheap, but they sure do have a lot of grip.

Thank you, but I gave up on the Shelbys... I found 2 people with NIB sets, but shipping is so damn ridiculous, (around $500.) its just not worth it to me.

Bought a set of new Nitto NT555 G2s Maybe in the meantime someone geographically closer to me might have a set available....

The whole point was to go to 18" for increased tire selection... but it doesnt matter, at least until my new Nittos wear out or age out... I put the money I would have spent on getting the drilled and slotted rotors replaced with the OEM GM rotors which I had turned, and new pads as well as new front FX3 shocks...
