Default Question: Whats your Daily Driver and why?

I'll start, I'm am trying to save for retirement in a couple of years and support a daughter that is pursuing Med School. So I try not to have a car payment. I presently drive a 1991 Volvo 240 non-turbo in fairly good shape. It's easy to maintain and trouble shoot, gets OK mileage (22mpg) and parts are fairly cheap. But really the big thing is they are easy to work on. OBD1, but has its own diagnostic unit and test lead built in and located under the hood. Sure its slooooow, but for a commuter its ok. Now on Fridays I take the Z and have fun.

My daily is (drum roll) a 1996 Mazda B2300 pickup. Why? Because it is all I need and I'm certainly not trying to impress anybody.
When I feel the need for speed I pull out either the '90Z or the HD V-Rod.
Works for me!!!

for me.. 2016 Dodge Charger SXT Blacktop.. my previous car Malibu MAXX SS was getting worn out and i needed a newer car to fit the family and be comfortable for the daily commute. I got it for a good price as well.. I now enjoy driving my daily vehicle

A '99 Miata because it's cheap, fun and reliable, a '99 Kawasaki ZRX1100 (for the same reasons) and a 2002 Chev Avalanche 2500 for towing my small trailer (and it has been my recent DD due to recent shoulder surgery and it's the only automatic I own). Love 'em all.

2004 Cavalier with the rare ZR-1 option-picture of rear bumper with ZR-1 emblem-because it just needs to do one thing.

2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2. It was going to be a new Ford Ranger, but the dealer screwed up the order, so I flew to Maryland, Dredgeguy picked me up and took me to the dealer, I signed the paperwork and drove it home to NH. Company truck, I own the company, so I get to spoil myself a little.

07 Range Rover TDV8, because the Durango lacked the comfort required for the 80 mile drive to work.

I am not out to impress anybody, However life is too short to roll in a Honda

Occasionally I am allowed to drive the spousal support units #1 Mercedes C300 Coupe. Lol

Depends on the weather. In winter and bad weather my main ride has been a BMW 5 series for the past dozen years. Finally sold the old 2010 535xi and got a new 540xi last fall. Identical color and options to the 2010, except for improved technology. I typically put about 5,000 miles a year on the BMW and about 5,000 miles a year on whatever Corvette I have, the ZR-1s before and the Z06 now. However with my recent 3,500 mile BMW trip to Florida I may go higher on it. Waiting for some warm weather to get the Z down. --Bob
