RIP Bill 'Grumpy' Jenkins
Sad news for us all. A true legend who many of us of the bow tie persuasion idolized growing up in the 60s & 70s. First saw him run at the 1971 Winter Nationals in Pamona. RIP and God's speed Grump.

Re: RIP Bill 'Grumpy' Jenkins
Wow I just mentioned Bill in a post just yesterday, sad news indeed. I got a lot of great memories of him and his "toys"
Thanks Bill for making growing up just that much better, rest in peace |

Re: RIP Bill 'Grumpy' Jenkins
Remember him well. I had not heard of him in years, then BJ auctioned off one of his old race cars this year.

Re: RIP Bill 'Grumpy' Jenkins
I grew up watching "Grumpy's Toy 1 thru ?" He was a true GM hero and will be missed. Was having a good day till I read about his death.

Re: RIP Bill 'Grumpy' Jenkins
God grant Grumpy eternal peace....and constant win lights.
I remember the first time I ever saw him race in person. Way back in 1970 at National Speedway on Long Island. I think that was when i realized I wanted a reefer white SS Camaro with a black vinyl roof.....and I was a blue oval guy at the time. The man could drive a car. Here's to ya Grumpy!
