Actually, the 56mm answer sounds more correct to me. reason I ask is that I am wanting to buy a set of 5 spokes on which to mount new tires so that I can remove and store the original wheels and tires. I have seen a lot oa 17x11's advertised with 50mm offset, but they further state that they will fit all 88-96 corvettes which indicates to me they are not the same offset as real ZR1 wheels which is why the ZR1 has the wider back end. Thus the 50mm offset must fit inside the wheelwells of std vettes which would be incorrect for the ZR1.

The ZR-1 rears are definitely not the same, but offhand I can't remember which it is (56 or 36).Email any one of the legitimate suppliers and they will tell you. Some of those knockoff suppliers don't have the ZR-1 offset.

UPDATE:I have been in contact with a supplier who stated that the correct offset is 56mm front and 36.5mm rear. Problem now is in locating a good set that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I hope to locate a used set.
