Default 93 ZR1 Newbie #187

I picked up a stock 93 ZR1, with 40K miles, a few weeks ago. I drove it for a week or two and then sent it to Marc Haibeck. He is doing a full inspection, plus installing 4.10 gears, headers, and a chip. Can't wait to get it back, and looking forward to being a part of this forum. I have already learned a great deal just by browsing threads. So much car knowledge here, it's incredible.

Anyone near St. Louis?

Jim

Thanks. Probably like a lot of people on this forum, I was in high school when the ZR1 came out and have wanted one ever since. Finally living that dream 25+ years later. I have owned a couple of classic cars in the past, but nothing compares to the Z.

Dang, you're jumping in with both feet!

Great idea to have Marc check it out. You're going to have a near perfect car when he's done.

Looking forward to your impressions of it.

Marc really knows these cars inside and out. I just hope he doesn't get tired of my questions. He's been extremely patient with me so far.

Marc has been patient with a lot of us for many, many years and he is very vital to this community. He is a genius if you ask me and
you and your car are in very good hands.

Marc is very patient and knowledgeable! I enjoy the four and a half hour trip to take my car to him. I learn something every time.

Adding Magnaflow exhaust, SW headers, Haibeck chip, and 4:10 gears has really woken this car up. I didn't realize what I had been missing.
