Re: rides members....how old is the oldest driver?
I just turned 50 in August so you have me by a year.
We have a number of members who are of retirement age but we know better than to bug em about it! After all they are the "elders" here and many of them bought their ZR-1's brand new back in the glory dayz!!! No matter what the age we are all still "brothers of the beast" here at the Zoo!

You're only over the hill when you quit making the effort to succeed at your endeavors and start coasting. Has nothing to do with age. As such, I seriously doubt if you're ever going to find a ZR-1 driver that's "over the hill."

Re: rides members....how old is the oldest driver?
I'm probably a good contender for the old guy title.
Got my 1st ZR-1 (a '91) in '92 and am now the owner of BEAST2, my 3rd and probably last ZR1. I celebrated my 75th birthday August 24, of this year strapped in the navigators seat of a friend's 2006 Z06 doing the Pony Express 130 (mile) Open Road Race in the 155 mph average speed group. We had a "tech" limit of 172 mph and finished the 130 miles with an average speed time of 50 minutes, 18.028 seconds, only 334 thousandths of a second behind Ted Zaleski who took 1st place in his '90 ZR-1! My children and grand children now have another tale to tell about the old head of the family. Corvettes keep me young and I don't intend to ever grow old!
