LGAFF master fabricator...ok thats a stretch
The Siamese plenum I did I picked up from the Phrog man for a good price.....but the MAP senor brackets were hacked off...
So I figured I would fix it.... Drilled a 6mm hole for stud Tapped a aluminum spacer from ACE and alittle JB.... Alittle sanding and it will look stock

It's nice being able to do your own work. Feels good, too.
Good job.

Re: LGAFF master fabricator...ok thats a stretch
Not half bad, Lee! Course powder coating is out of the question, I suppose. I have some "Alumaweld" and a video that shows just such type of reconstruction of aluminum castings. I've played around with the stuff some, and I'm intrigued by how well it might work in just that kind of application. If that epoxy doesn't work out, give me a call, and lets see if this Alumaweld stuff is all its cracked up to be!

Re: LGAFF master fabricator...ok thats a stretch
Paul this stuff is good to 600 degrees.....so I am not sure that you could not PC....I used Alumiweld to fill my siamese intake......the issue is getting the parent metal hot enough..I waqs successful once.
I was using MAP...I think with an Oxy torch it would work. Also check out muggyweld.com

Re: LGAFF master fabricator...ok thats a stretch
Lee,
Is that really a Siamese plenum? I thought I saw what looked like stock runners in one of the pics. Do you have a pic of the whole plenum? Or are you going to make this one Siamese? Is it going on your car? Cheers, RH
