Default Polish & Ceramic on 1990

Had the car professionally polished and a 2 year ceramic coating applied. The orange peel remains however, the gloss is really nice.
When the car was delivered to me, the paint was in need of some TLC. I'm pleased with the way it turned out.
(I know, the extra front wheel has the tire mounted in the wrong direction )

I?ve been using Mequiars ceramic wash. It shines just like yours. Water beads up and dust doesn?t stick to it.

I recently tested the Mequiars ceramic wash and was forced to use a road being resurfaced with new asphalt. The tar kick up on the sides of my wife?s white car wiped right off using a paper towel. I thought I?d have to spend the afternoon using WD40 to clean it. Whew!!!!

I keep doing the same thing on my beauty and my W210 Mercedes. I'm getting older and older, but the effect after doing this is still absolutely worth it. it's like a driving mirror - people look at it and wow - I'm the star on the road !

I was quoted $1500 for a paint correction and 5 year ceramic coat for my 92. Is that about the going rate?

If your paint is original, I would make sure how they intend to correct it. There is not a lot of clear to work with.
The paint on our black 1990 was polished, then ceramic coated. It came out great and the entire job was about $1,000.
We had our black Charger Hellcat paint corrected then, the paint, interior and wheels were ceramic coated. It was over $2,000 but, it looked soooo good.

That is in the ballpark for paint correction and 5 year ceramic coating.

Orange peel on a Corvette? Impossible!

Looks fantastic.
