Default Life is good.

I just get this beatifull Z's top end back together and it's running great. A coworker and I go to lunch in it and the alternator freezes up. Luckily it happened right in front of a customers shop we do work for. Oreilleys says the will have a rebuilt one ready to pick up at 4:30 today.

so when are you going to begin the frame off restoration? Hehe....good news man....any seat of the pants difference? You aren't going to have it tuned until the exhaust is done right? How about a mail order tune in the mean time?

Its running great accept the idle is kinda high. Between 1500-2000rpms. I do think it would benifit from a tune. Its gonna be a while till Corey can make me some Jeals. But I can sure feel the difference especially in the top end.

rick you might ck for a vacume leak. do you have a scan tool so you can ck the position of the iac and the tps.you can use a propane torch with a hose on the nd of it run ti over you vac connections if you have a leak the idle will go up .hope this helps . the idle on that prom is set for 900-950 due to the light weight flywheel in the black car

Might I ask what you did about loosing the DAG? The loss of that stuff will make it hard for the secondary blades to seal their bores at idle, thus allowing extra air to give the higher idle speed.

Maybe a call to Marc might help as he fixed that situation for one member.
