Default A missing nut

Hi all,

I am missing a black nut, possibly 4mm?, that holds aluminum shield/trim over the throttle pulley.
Does anyone have a spare I could buy?

Thanks.

Funny, I need those too, plus the screw that attaches it to the airhorn.

I was also missing one of these nuts but luckily found it stuck in the inlet of engine valley drain tube when titivating under the plenum last year. I can't tell you how surprised and gratified I was when I discovered it was the missing nut as I had been searching for one to no avail since I first bought car. When I first looked in the valley after removing the starter I said to myself damn what a skimpy drain hole they put in here however, after poking around on it a bit with a pointed mettle scribe to help it drain better out popped the missing nut. And boy was I relieved that drain tube turned out to be much larger than it first appeared.
May you also have similar luck in you hunt

No, Phil. I don't want to pull the freaking plenum again for a while!!!
Thanks for the well wish though.

I discovered that I need one of these nuts also. If you find a source, please let me know.

Jim,

It's not identical but while looking, if you go to Home Depot their hardware, bolts and nuts section, look for 4mm-7 nut is the same thread.
