ALMS Race in Utah july '06
Head's up for anyone interested in attending the Inaugural ALMS race in Tooele, UT next July. I just made our hotel reservations and was told most of the hotels in town were almost booked up. The Best Western IS booked solid - wonder if that is where the teams will be staying?!? The new track - Miller Motorsports Park - is approx 6.5 miles from Tooele.
I am still looking for info on the Corvette Corral there. The person I "spoke" to (via email) at the Corvette Museum said that ALMS had Corvette Corrals at all races this year and they were very successfull so he was hoping they will be available at all ALMS races next year as well. Does anyone know if the Corvette Corral concept was started by the local Corvette club out at Road America in Wisconsin? They have had them for years, but without factory sponsorship. Just wondering... Lily (& Jeff) '90 ZR1 turquoise/black #2468 |
