why i should use Fidanza FIVE Point FOUR Clutch Kit - GM Corvette ZR-1 , which is for race, and it say USE with Stock Flywheel.
But for Fidanza TWO Point ONE Clutch Kit, which use for light Mod. Lt5, it say USE with Findanza Flywheel. It is strange. any one know why? the fact! |

I would direct the question to Fidanza. I just happened to be looking for a clutch for my Fidanza aluminum flywheel and here is some information from Brad at Fidanza: Hey Craig, > Thanks for contacting Fidanza. Here are the > part numbers and torque specs: > #391841 424 lb-ft. #391842 589 lb-ft. #391843 702 lb-ft. #391844 665 lb-ft. > The clutch should be balanced with the flywheel > as an assembly. Also, you should use a sprung hub clutch > disc (all of the part numbers listed above except the 391844 > are sprung hub). Well you can stay stock like KB7TIF did or you can go race with a ceramic like I did with a Carolina setup. If ou are interested in the race setup just email the boyz at Carolina and they will get you all set up with a turn key package like they did me. My clutch was shot and I wanted a performance one so I went ceramic. I like it very aggressive however -- super tight grip action!
I went stage 3 for my 92 Z http://www.carolinaclutch.com/Conten...te-lt.htm.aspx http://www.carolinaclutch.com/showitem/108823.aspx http://www.carolinaclutch.com/ShowIt...0Flywheel.aspx http://www.carolinaclutch.com/ShowIt...olt%20Kit.aspx We will look fwd to your adventures in Russia -- Are you going to drive the Z there? |

Hadi,
Best wishes in your quest for the ultimate clutch. I'm in the same boat and looking myself. Bryan, Thanks for sharing and the price sure is attractive as over $200 less than the same offered in Fidanza from Carolina Clutch. |
