Default NoVA - MD ZR-1 Group Map

Just for fun I plotted the rough location of the NoVA - MD ZR-1 Group members on a Google map:

The red pointer (with no black dot) at Montgomery Village, MD is the calculated "meeting point" for this set of locations.

What I notice:

Our group covers a large area.

We have a lot of ZR-1 enthusiasts in our area.

What's even more interesting is that this is just forum folks and such. There are undoubtedly more. I have a friend who has a friend with a '91. I'd like to meet up with him sometime but it's not happened yet.

One of the times I was at Cooper Corvettes, they mentioned selling a nice driver '95 to a guy in Leesburg. I've never seen the car around though, but always hope to spot it one day.

Who knows how many others that we don't know about. Yet there's no ZR-1 specialist in 200 miles!

I agree Bob, I "know" of several other ZR-1's in the region, but the owner has to show up or post up somewhere for me to add them to our group.

As far as a ZR-1 specialist, maybe we could take up a collection and pay Marc to relocate here. Or maybe we can continue to build our "group" expertise and start doing our own engine building.

The map also doesn't show several guys that come from NJ and NY to attend our events!
