interesting article........says......"The Corvette is one of 15 built by GM, and one of two remaining."......so this raises the question..Where's the other one at? also check out the delamination as they roll it off the stage at 7:22 on the replay

I've "heard" that there are 5 or 6 floating around. Maybe 1 in AZ, CA & MI or MN. Wouldn't surpirse me if a couple more than the official number escaped.
I had 3 engines that had been equipped with active handling. Most of it had been removed, but the engines still retained the unique coolant outlet pipes, some brackets, a hose here & there and the cam cover bolt/studs. These are "K" code engines which designates 1989 assembly. The cylinder head numbers for all 3 engines rangwe from 191 to 227, whereas the famous "window engine" had heads numbered 967 & 1006 just to give some perspective of evolution timing.
