Default Product Introduction

For those who did not see this in the "other" forum. You'll have to fill in the **** for corvette forum

I need a drain plug so I'm going to give it a whirl as it can't hurt in my opinion.

Craig...
I thought there was some debate over whether or not the size/thread type for the after market Dimple Super oil drain plug would work on the LT-5 engine?? I remember a lot of posts back and forth..or was that resolved?

This just wandered thru my squash.......doesn't autozone or is it NAPA? One of those has our pan plug & washer. I seem to remember that from another thread.

Apparently WVZR-1 and others discovered the error with the listing and Magdana checked with the manufacturer so it is corrected as shown. I'm ordering one and can post the results of fitment as soon as I get mine.

He is offering free shipment for Corvette forum members and imagine the same for here.

I actually just brought an M16 drain plug home to confirm the "no fit" in a new pan! The seller was relying on information from his supplier and mentioned it was "under study" after I posted my "doubts"! From the time of my post to the acknowledgement of the "error" on their part they edited all of the information to reflect the correct size 5/8-18 in less than three days I believe. It often doesn't happen that way! That was a "good job" on their part.

I wouldn't say it was "debated"! I'd say the fit was confirmed and everyone went about "whatever" it was they were doing beforehand!

Then I would say all is resolved and looks like we have a aftermarket oil drain plug upgrade

I asked Joe if he would offer free shipping to ZR-1 Net Registry members and here is his reply for those that are interested:
